Finance Ministry Engages Stakeholders to Shape Economic Policies and Drive Growth

The Finance Ministry has embarked on a series of stakeholder engagements with various institutions, including Faith-Based Organisations (FBOs), social partners, academia, think tanks, civil society organisations, trade unions, and organised groups. These discussions aim to inform the preparation of the Mid-Year Fiscal Policy Review of the 2024 Budget and ensure that economic policies are inclusive and effective.

Coordinating Director (Operation), Mrs. Stella Williams, emphasized the importance of stakeholder input, stating, “Your insights and feedback are invaluable, and I encourage open and constructive dialogue throughout our discussions.” Chief Director, Ms. Eva Esselba Mends, expressed appreciation for the stakeholders’ partnership and contributions to financial inclusion and government initiatives.

Deputy Minister for Finance, Dr. Stephen Amoah (MP), highlighted the significance of collaboration, saying, “Our economy is rebounding, and it is imperative that we work together to ensure sustainable growth and prosperity for all.” He emphasized the government’s commitment to transparency, inclusivity, and shared responsibility in shaping economic policies.

Through these stakeholder engagements, the Finance Ministry demonstrates its dedication to harnessing collective expertise and experience to drive economic growth and development. By fostering a spirit of collaboration and open communication, the government is poised to address current economic issues and unlock innovative solutions for a brighter economic future.
