As the December elections approach, Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, the Flagbearer of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), has made a passionate appeal to Ghanaians to carefully evaluate the policies and initiatives implemented by the NPP government over the past seven and a half years. Speaking at a community engagement in Gbintiri, Dr. Bawumia emphasized the NPP’s commitment to transforming Ghana, highlighting the impact of their policies on the ordinary Ghanaian.
He pointed to the success of the Free SHS initiative, which has made secondary education accessible to every Ghanaian child. Dr. Bawumia also highlighted the government’s digitalization drive, which has enabled mobile money interoperability, making banking services accessible to all. Additionally, he noted that the use of drones has made essential medicines and medical supplies available in remote areas.
Dr. Bawumia’s campaign tour of the North East Region included courtesy calls on traditional leaders, engagements with youth groups, door-to-door campaigns, and community engagements with NPP Parliamentary Candidates. He emphasized the NPP’s vision and ideas for a brighter future, urging Ghanaians to compare their record of development to that of their opponents. With a strong track record in the north, Dr. Bawumia promised even greater accomplishments ahead.
