The foundation’s mission is to create lasting impacts in Ghana’s communities, starting from the Ablekuma West Constituency.
Ursula who is also the Minister for Communications remarkable journey, from selling charcoal to serving in public office, serves as a beacon of hope for those seeking a brighter future. The foundation’s legacy project is a testament to the support and motivation she received throughout her life, inspiring her to extend a helping hand to others.
The Ursula Foundation focuses on four key areas: Entrepreneurship, Education/Literacy, Sustainable Livelihood, and Social Protection. The initiative offers various programs, including enterprise support, STEM education, scholarships, civic engagements, skills training, access to credit facilities, and support against gender-based violence.
Ursula emphasized that sustainable progress requires apolitical strategies and long-lasting solutions. The foundation aims to empower communities in Ablekuma West, providing equal opportunities for all residents, regardless of political, religious, tribal, or social affiliations.
