As John Dramani Mahama, the flagbearer of the NDC, returned home, he seized the opportunity to connect with the people who matter most – the everyday Ghanaians working hard to build a better life. During his visit, he met with Mr. Taylor, a dedicated cashew nuts businessman, and his staff. The encounter left a lasting impression on Mahama, as he listened to their stories and struggles.

Moved by their determination and resilience, Mahama reaffirmed his commitment to supporting small business owners like Taylor. He recognizes the significance of their contributions to the local economy and the employment opportunities they provide for young people. Mahama’s vision is to empower farmers and agro-processing industries, acknowledging the sector’s potential to drive economic growth.

To achieve this, he plans to establish regional processing zones in all sixteen regions, in collaboration with the Ghana EXIM Bank. This strategic initiative will enhance the value of crops, create new job opportunities, and reduce Ghana’s dependence on imported raw materials.
Mahama’s passion for a thriving agricultural sector burns bright. He is dedicated to delivering on his promises, supporting small businesses and farmers across the country. Together, they will build a prosperous and sustainable future for Ghana.
In a gesture of gratitude, Mahama expressed his appreciation to all who have supported the NDC’s 2024 campaign. “On behalf of the rank and file of our great party, let me express appreciation to all who have and continue to support our campaign for 2024. Your contributions, large and small, in kind and cash, mean a lot to us and will go a long way in helping us achieve our goals for Ghana’s future.”

He specifically thanked the Upper West and Volta Regions for their successful fundraising activities, saying, “I also want to express my deep appreciation to the Upper West and Volta Regions for your successful fundraising activities. Thank you once again for your unwavering support.”
The #Mahama4Change2024 movement gains momentum, as the leader’s commitment to the people’s welfare becomes clearer with each passing day. #LetsBuildGhanaTogether.
