Chicago, Illinois – Members of the vibrant Ghanaian community in Chicago came together to celebrate Father’s Day with a divine and spirit-filled service at 5500 S Woodlawn Avenue. The event, held on Sunday, was a joyous occasion where fathers and men took center stage in every aspect of the service.

Elder Nana Kwaku Duah led the service, setting the tone for a memorable day. Reverend Akwasi Yeboah and the men led praise and worship, filling the sanctuary with heartfelt melodies. The men’s Ministry contributed by reading the gospel and leading praises during the offering.

Rev. Dr. Apostle Bright Sosu, Ashanti Regional Chairman of the Ghana Pentecostal and Charismatic Council, delivered an informative, inspiring, and edifying sermon. His theme, “Sustaining the Future You Create,” resonated with the congregation.

Attendees were encouraged to join the online Prayer and Bible study service every Tuesday at 8 pm. Dial 267-807-9605 with the code 925854. This virtual gathering allows community members to continue their spiritual growth and fellowship beyond Sunday services.

The Women’s Ministry expressed their gratitude to the men by honoring them with thoughtful presents, cards, and a delectable spread of Ghanaian cuisine. The Ofosuhene and Agyeman families also participated, celebrating the first anniversary of their baby boy, Uriel Nana Kwame Nkonim Ofosuhene.
