Redmond, WA, June 16, 2024 — On this special occasion of Father’s Day, Dr. Tsatsu E. Nyamadi, President of the Council of Ewe Associations of North America, Inc. (CEANA), extends warm greetings to all fathers within the Eweland community.

Dr. Nyamadi begins by drawing inspiration from Psalm 103:13: “Just as a father has compassion for his children, so the Lord has compassion for those who fear him.” With heartfelt appreciation, he acknowledges the immense contributions and sacrifices made by fathers in our lives.

In his message, Dr. Nyamadi reminds us not to take for granted the privileges we enjoy daily—privileges that often stem from the selfless actions of our fathers. Beyond providing material support, fathers shape our lives through their thoughtful words, actions, and love.

“Fathers are not just those who put food on our tables or pay our school fees,” Dr. Nyamadi emphasizes. “They are all who think and act in ways that make our lives more enjoyable.” Their influence extends beyond the immediate family, impacting the entire community.

Looking ahead, CEANA is gearing up for its 31st Annual CEANA Convention, scheduled from August 29th to September 2nd, 2024. Held at the Embassy Suites by Hilton in Loveland, Colorado, this year’s theme is “Mina Mia Tu Ewe Dukɔ – Help Build Eweland – Peuple Ewe Ensemble Batissons La cite.”
During the convention, attendees will engage in fundraising for developmental projects, reconnect with old friends, forge new connections, and exchange ideas on rebuilding Eweland. Dr. Nyamadi extends a warm invitation to all—whether in person or through various forms of contribution—to join this collective effort.

As we celebrate Father’s Day, let us honor the fathers who have shaped our lives and continue to contribute to our shared well-being. May they live long and be empowered to create a better world for us all.
Happy Father’s Day to all!
