Overwhelming Support For The Late Mrs. Augustina Afriyie’s Family

Chicago, Illinois, April 27, 2024: Despite six other significant events in the Ghanaian community, over 350 community members gathered to honor and celebrate Mrs. Augustina Afriyie’s life. The celebration took place at Somuah Hall, located at 4053 N Keeler Avenue, Chicago, Illinois.

She passed away in Ghana and was buried there recently. She had two sons, Samuel Sarpong and Yaw Adu, and a daughter, Sister Pinaman. They all reside in Chicago, Illinois.

The traditional celebration was nothing short of a masterpiece.

The splendid display of Ghanaian culture, including Naa Tsotso’s spectacular Adowa dance, created a sense of nostalgia among the attendees. It’s beautiful to witness how traditions and memories intertwine during such momentous events .

Nana Yaw Marfo, the legendary emcee, certainly lived up to his reputation by skillfully hosting the event. His presence and performance added a touch of elegance to the occasion. And let’s not forget Odikro, the deejay, whose superb selections kept revelers on their feet throughout the evening. He has a way of creating magical and joyful moments with the music in his arsenal .

The pair played pivotal roles in ensuring the celebration’s success.
