Managing diabetes can be challenging. Sometimes, you may feel overwhelmed. Having diabetes means you must check your blood sugar levels often, make healthy food choices, be physically active, remember to take your medicine and make other good decisions about your health several times a day. Besides the daily grueling activities to manage the disease, one has to contend with the high cost of medications needed to control the disease.
It was all good news when the coordinators of the GNC Community Clinic announced that it had received a large donation of medications totaling $23,000.00 for distribution to community members at no cost. The medicines include insulins and diabetic supplies donated by the Prestige Wellness Foundation through its community outreach program.

Therefore, The GNC calls on community members requiring these medications to contact them at 312-899-6733 or email gchclinic@gmail.com.
We applaud the GNC and the Prestige Wellness Foundation for innovating on behalf of people with diabetes and taking vital action to help ensure they easily access the treatments they need through this free program.
Also, the program coordinators announced that community members looking for medical advice from the comfort of their homes should schedule a telehealth appointment by calling 312-899-6733 for expert guidance on their medical concerns. It’s a free virtual consultation offered by the Ghanaian Community Health Clinic under the auspices of the GNC.
