The Ghana Chicago Club supported by the Ga-Dangme Community Organization , and members of the Ghanaian community in Chicago, came in their numbers to celebrate the life of the late Patience Destiny Naa Borteley Bortey . She was 47.
The event took place at the Leak and Sons reception hall , 7838 South Cottage Grove Ave. Chicago Illinois . She is survived by her mother , Mrs. Kera Owoo-Bortey.
Earlier , there was a Burial Service at the Parkway Garden Christian Church ( Disciples of Christ) , 6600 South Martin Luther King Drive,Chicago, IL 60637. The emcee was Efo Steve and Master P was the DJ.
