This alert gives notice of recent Thefts of Catalytic Converters that have occurred within the Mount Greenwood Area of the 22nd District. In these incidents, the unknown offender(s) drive up in a vehicle, exit, and cut the catalytic converters off of victims’ vehicles sometime during the late night or early morning. In one instance captured on surveillance video, the offender(s) are armed with handguns.
