After three years of gushing the love they have for each other privately, Collins Opare Affum and Harriet T. George have finally decided to come out and declare to the whole world the passion they have for each other. Traditional engagement kicks off the lineup of events geared towards celebrating the couple and also usher them into holy matrimony on April 29, 2021. The wedding takes place the following day, April 30, 2021. There will be a colorful thanksgiving service at the Christ Center of Hope Church in Chicago on Sunday, May 2, 2021 to close the curtain on the ceremonies. Due to COVID-19 considerations, the ceremony will be strictly by invitation.
The love birds have been friends for four years and engaged the last three.
Miss George, a close relation of Trend Africa TV’s own, Empress Mawusi, is from Liberia, while the lucky hubby Collins, is from Ghana.
As fate would have it, the couple met at the Christ Center of Hope Church in Chicago whilst they both were still in school at Eastern Illinois University.
“Long story short, I fell in love with his calm demeanor, the way he treats, respects, and adores me”, Ms. George confessed. Since their first date in 2014, at the elegant Olive Garden Restaurant, the couple has not looked back and have been inseparable. We wish them a blessed and prosperous marriage.
