This morning, U.S. federal health regulators recommended a halt in the use of Johnson and Johnson’s single-dose Covid-19 Vaccine while they investigate six reports of blood clots in women ages 18 to 48. One person is alleged to have died, and a second is hospitalized in critical condition as a result of the dangerous side effect of the Vaccine.
Researchers and other experts are investigating if the vaccine is responsible for the clots. Another vaccine made by AstraZeneca has been alleged to be the cause of a similar, extremely rare clotting disorder by European countries.
