The Ghana National Council of Metropolitan Chicago has announced the official process for affiliate ticket sales ahead of GhanaFest 2026, the crown jewel and mother of all Ghanaian diaspora cultural celebrations. Scheduled for Saturday, July 25, 2026, at Washington Park in Chicago, this year’s festival promises to be one of the most vibrant and historic gatherings of Ghanaian culture, heritage, and community pride.

To ensure a smooth and accountable distribution process, the Council is directing every affiliate organization to appoint one representative who will manage all ticket‑related responsibilities. This representative will purchase the tickets on behalf of the affiliate, distribute them to members, and maintain a complete record of all individuals who receive tickets through the affiliate. Tickets will be released directly to the designated representative for internal distribution.
Once affiliates identify their ticket purchasers, all names must be submitted to Madam Francisca, who is coordinating the verification and tracking process. She can be reached by phone or WhatsApp at 773‑663‑6353 for all submissions and inquiries.
Affiliate tickets are priced at twenty dollars each, and all payments must be completed no later than July 5. Payments are to be made in full via Zelle to the Ghana National Council at gncchicago1@gmail.com. The Council emphasizes that this deadline is final. After July 5, the affiliate discount will no longer apply.
Once the deadline passes, tickets may only be purchased at the gate or through VIP Socio at the standard public rate. The Council stresses that no exceptions will be made.
This announcement serves as a timely reminder for all affiliates to organize quickly, designate their representatives, and complete their purchases before the deadline. With GhanaFest recognized as the premier cultural showcase of the Ghanaian diaspora, the Council encourages full participation and early preparation to ensure a seamless and successful celebration.
