The Government of Ghana has officially condemned a drone attack near Dubai International Airport today that left two Ghanaian nationals injured.

According to a press release issued by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs on March 11, 2026, the victims are currently receiving medical treatment in a local hospital. Ghana’s Ambassador to the United Arab Emirates led a diplomatic delegation from Abu Dhabi and Dubai to visit the injured citizens, confirming that their injuries are not life-threatening and that a full recovery is expected.
In response to the incident, the Ghanaian government expressed its solidarity with the victims and their families while reiterating its commitment to the safety of its citizens abroad. Beyond providing emergency consular assistance, officials in Accra are actively collaborating with international partners to support a United Nations resolution aimed at de-escalating regional hostilities.
