Togbe Afede XIV Appointed Chair of Yale School of Management Council of Global Advisors

The Yale School of Management has appointed Togbe Afede XIV as the Chair of its Council of Global Advisors, effective February 16, 2026. In this high-profile role, he will lead a distinguished group of international leaders tasked with advising the Dean and senior leadership of the graduate business school on global expansion and brand strategy.

Togbe’s selection for the position was based on his extensive leadership experience and professional career. As Chair, he will work closely with Dean Kerwin Charles to shape the council’s priorities, guide member engagement, and oversee the strategic direction of the body. His responsibilities will also include strengthening international student recruitment, increasing global awareness of the school’s mission, and deepening partnerships with organizations across the world.

The Council of Global Advisors consists of a diverse group of alumni and non-alumni from various countries and professional backgrounds who contribute their expertise to support the school’s key initiatives. Members are expected to be active participants in shaping the institution’s international reach.

Togbe Afede XIV will serve an initial three-year term with the possibility of renewal. In addition to his leadership of the council, he will also serve as an ex-officio member of the Yale School of Management Board of Advisors.
