The NAFRICANS Academic Committee has marked another decisive step in its mission to transform teaching and learning at Zion College, following the installation of a Starlink high‑speed internet system and two brand‑new desktop computers in the school’s library on 28th February 2026. This latest upgrade, made possible through the generosity of a committed donor, signals a new phase in the Association’s long-term academic renewal agenda.
This development builds on earlier investments that equipped the school with a full suite of distance‑learning tools such as laptops, a projector, giant screen, sound mixer, loudspeakers, microphones, and a camera , all designed to make virtual teaching and remote academic support a permanent feature of the school’s learning environment. The newly completed National Service Personnel Accommodation, which houses six service members, further strengthens the school’s capacity to sustain continuous academic engagement.
With these resources now in place, the NAFRICANS leadership says the school is entering a new era , one where students can be guided consistently, strategically, and with purpose. The goal is to help learners cultivate stronger study habits, adopt modern learning techniques, and build the examination skills needed to compete at the highest levels.
The Committee is calling on all NAFRICANS to rally behind this vision. The strategy is simple but powerful: support the school administration and tutors in every practical way. WAEC subject experts will be needed for specialized academic interventions, while members outside the education field will play equally important roles as mentors, motivators, and guides. As the Committee puts it, there will be something meaningful for everyone to do.
The message is clear and urgent: the time has come to lift academic performance at Zion College, and the responsibility belongs to all who carry the NAFRICAN identity. The call to action is unmistakable, get ready to be involved.
