Prez Mahama Swears in New Heads of Fire and Immigration Services

President John Dramani Mahama has officially sworn in Daniella Mawusi Ntow Sapong as the Chief Fire Officer of the Ghana National Fire Service and Samuel Basintale Amadu as the Comptroller-General of the Ghana Immigration Service.

During the swearing-in ceremony, the President charged the two newly appointed heads to provide decisive leadership and uphold the highest standards of discipline and professionalism within their respective institutions.

President Mahama emphasized the critical role both services play in national stability, urging the new leadership to enhance institutional performance to better safeguard the nation. He specifically highlighted the need for the Ghana National Fire Service to strengthen its emergency response capabilities and for the Ghana Immigration Service to implement more robust and improved border management systems.

The President concluded by noting that these appointments are central to the government’s broader strategy of ensuring internal security and public safety through efficient and proactive institutional management.
