The Ministry of Finance has announced the official relocation of its headquarters to Kanda in Accra, marking a major administrative shift aimed at improving efficiency and service delivery.
According to a statement issued on February 6, 2026, the Ministry will begin full operations at the new Kanda offices on Monday, February 9, 2026.
The relocation, the Ministry noted, is part of broader efforts to strengthen coordination, enhance operational responsiveness, and modernize the institution’s working environment. The new office complex was originally constructed by the Ghana Revenue Authority before the current administration assumed office.
