The Government of Ghana, through the Ministry of Finance, and the African Export-Import Bank (Afreximbank) have announced the successful resolution of outstanding issues concerning a US$750 million credit facility.
Both parties confirmed that the matters related to the 2022 agreement have been settled to their mutual satisfaction, clearing the path for continued collaboration on the nation’s development goals.
The resolution marks a significant step in maintaining the partnership between the sovereign state and the multilateral financial institution. By addressing the complexities surrounding the facility, the Ministry of Finance and Afreximbank have reaffirmed their commitment to working together to support Ghana’s broader economic and infrastructure agenda.
This announcement is expected to provide further stability to the country’s financial outlook as it continues to engage with international development partners.
