Accra, Ghana – December 17, 2025 – The Electricity Company of Ghana (ECG) has announced upcoming maintenance works in two regions aimed at improving service delivery and ensuring reliability of power supply.

Emergency Maintenance – Ashanti Region
- Date: Thursday, December 18, 2025
- Time: 10:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m.
- Affected Areas: Atonsu, Chirapatre, Ramseyer, and surrounding communities

Residents in these areas are advised to prepare for temporary power interruptions as ECG undertakes urgent works to stabilize and enhance electricity distribution.
Planned Maintenance – Greater Accra Region
- Date: Thursday, December 18, 2025
- Time: 9:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.
- Affected Areas: Shiabu, Beach Road, Gbegbeyise, Mallam Junction, Weija Gbawe Municipal Hospital, Sampa Valley, Kinshasha, Choice, and nearby communities
This scheduled exercise forms part of ECG’s broader infrastructure improvement program, designed to strengthen the network and reduce future disruptions.
