ACCRA – The State of Kuwait and Ghana are prioritizing enhanced bilateral cooperation in security and related sectors, following a courtesy call by the Chargé D’Affairs of the State of Kuwait, Mr. Husain Alebrahim, on Ghana’s Minister for the Interior, Muntaka Mohammed-Mubarak, in Accra.
The visit was specifically aimed at discussing ways to strengthen the relationship between the two countries. Minister Mohammed-Mubarak welcomed Mr. Alebrahim and affirmed the Ministry’s readiness to collaborate, stressing that “no country can live without collaboration and support of others.”
The Minister highlighted the long-standing ties between Ghana and Kuwait, emphasizing the importance of maintaining and strengthening this good relationship. According to Alhaji Muntaka, the two nations will continue to explore opportunities that will be mutually beneficial.
The meeting provided an important platform for both parties to discuss areas of mutual interest and identify avenues to deepen their cooperation. The diplomatic engagement underscores Ghana’s commitment to regional security and its efforts to foster stronger international relationships, acknowledging Kuwait’s role as a significant partner which has previously provided humanitarian assistance.
