Ghana’s Ambassador to the United States, H.E. Victor Emmanuel Smith, has issued a renewed call for Ghanaians in the diaspora to reinforce and strengthen partnerships aimed at supporting Ghana’s national development.
The Ambassador made this appeal during a Christmas concert organized by the Tema Youth Choir, USA, held in Woodbridge, Virginia.
Speaking at the “Silent Night” Christmas Concert, which took place at the Ebenezer Presbyterian Church, Ambassador Smith extended his appreciation to the performers. The concert featured artistry from the Tema Choir USA, the visiting Tema Youth Choir from Ghana, and the Ebenezer Presbyterian Church Choir.
Ambassador Smith specifically praised the choirs for their exceptional artistry and noticeable discipline throughout the event.
In closing remarks, the Ambassador thanked the organizers for the invitation to the festive gathering and offered his well wishes for the holiday season to all guests in attendance.
He concluded his address by reiterating his familiar and enduring national call, encapsulated by the phrase: “THINK GHANA FIRST.”
