KUMASI, DECEMBER 6, 2025 — The Management of Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST) officially conveyed its appreciation to the King of the Asante Kingdom and Chancellor of the university, Otumfuo Osei Tutu II, for his unwavering support.
The university’s Vice Chancellor, Professor Rita Akosua Dickson, accompanied by other management members, attended the last Awukudae Festival of 2025 to personally thank the King.
Professor Dickson highlighted the countless support the institution has received from its Chancellor, specifically mentioning his visit to the university over the weekend for the 59th Congregation.
This visit culminated in the commissioning of several projects on the KNUST campus, underscoring the King’s active role in the development and progress of the institution.
