The Ghana Armed Forces recruitment exercise has resumed at El-Wak Stadium under markedly improved conditions. Organizers have introduced new crowd-control measures to ensure the safety and comfort of applicants, following the tragic stampede during a previous session that claimed the lives of six young women.

The atmosphere today is calm and orderly. Security personnel are on hand to guide applicants smoothly through the process, while large tents provide shelter from the sun. Applicants are being called in batches, reducing congestion and maintaining a steady flow. To further enhance comfort, giant industrial fans have been installed across the grounds, keeping the waiting recruits cool.
These adjustments reflect a deliberate effort to prevent a repeat of past chaos and to restore confidence in the recruitment process. The combination of structured scheduling, protective shelter, and cooling systems has created a safer, more humane environment for all participants
