Accra, Ghana – The Ghana Armed Forces has announced the resumption of the 2025/2026 recruitment in the Greater Accra Region, scheduled to begin on November 20, 2025. The exercise, which was suspended last week, will take place at 8 sub-centres within 5 locations, including El-Wak Stadium, Nicholson Park, and the Training and Doctrine Command.
Qualified applicants will receive an SMS specifying their reporting dates, batches, and designated centres. They are advised to check the recruitment portal for updates and strictly adhere to the instructions. A helpline and WhatsApp number have been provided for applicants who do not receive a text message or require assistance.
The Ghana Armed Forces has set up a Board of Inquiry to investigate the circumstances leading to a recent stampede and has replaced the entire Greater Accra Recruitment team. The public is assured that anyone found culpable will be sanctioned accordingly. The Ghana Armed Forces extends its sympathies to the bereaved families and wishes the injured a speedy recovery.
