The duo, running under the banner “A Voice for Change. A Heart for Service,” seeks to usher in a new era of responsive leadership for the Ghanaian Chicago community .

Adongo brings a distinguished record of public service spanning decades and continents. From her early work in rural Ghana to her current residence in Sycamore, Illinois, she has served as a nurse, nutrition consultant, health outcomes specialist, and compliance nurse. Her advocacy for health equity has touched lives across both local and international Ghanaian communities.
Currently serving as Assistant Secretary of the Ghana National Council, Adongo has played a pivotal role in strengthening institutional transparency and community engagement. Her leadership reflects a deep commitment to building bridges between generations, between Ghanaians at home and abroad, and between communities and the resources they need to thrive.
