I pay tribute to the late Nana Konadu Agyeman Rawlings, wife of former President Jerry John Rawlings. May her soul rest in peace. She was a stalwart advocate for women’s rights globally and a pillar of strength for the National Democratic Congress (NDC).
Her contributions to the NDC, particularly in mobilizing women, will always be remembered. During the party’s challenging times, following the loss to the NPP, she played a pivotal role in its reorganization. I recall her support for the NDC Youth Forum, including providing a vehicle and resources, which enabled us to work tirelessly to revive the party. We were able to dedicate ourselves to the cause because of the resources she provided, and for that, we remain eternally grateful.
I remember working alongside individuals like Hon. Haruna Iddrisu, Hon. Fiifi Kwetey, Hon. Elvies Afriyie Ankra, H.E. Hon. Baba Jamal,
