The “Busy Team,” led by Gomoa Central Member of Parliament Kwame Asare Obeng, also known as A-Plus, undertook an inspection tour of two significant industrial facilities within the constituency aimed at assessing their contribution to local transformation.

The tour was intended to facilitate interaction with owners and workers and gather firsthand insights into their operations.
Yesterday, the team visited the 5 Continents Brick Factory located in Gomoa Mprumem, where they observed the large-scale production capabilities positioning Gomoa Central as a significant center for contemporary building materials.

Mr. Obeng noted that the factory’s deployment of cutting-edge technology alongside its commitment to employing local residents clearly embodies the principles of Ghana’s proposed 24-Hour Economy initiative.

Subsequently, the delegation toured the BXC Solar Power Station in Gomoa Otsew to experience what the MP described as the future of sustainable energy. The facility provides clean, renewable power currently energizing various homes and industries across the nation. According to the statement, the MP’s technical team held discussions with the station’s staff and management as part of ongoing feasibility studies for the planned 350MW Gomoa Solar Power Station, which is designated to supply energy specifically to the Gomoa Central Special Economic Zone (GC-SEZ).

Concluding his remarks, the MP asserted that these projects serve as tangible evidence that the vision for an industrialized Ghana is being realized, urging collective efforts to build a constituency founded on innovation, employment, and opportunity.
