The Asanteman Association of Chicago and Midwest Inc., proudly known as Asante Kotoko, invites all members and the wider Ghanaian community to its upcoming General Meeting this Sunday , September 28, 2025, from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM sharp at First Presbyterian Church, 180 N. Weber Road, Bolingbrook, IL 60440.

Held on the last Sunday of every month, this gathering is more than a routine meeting, it is a living expression of heritage, service, and communal care. All new members are warmly welcomed into the fold.
In a landmark collaboration with the Ghanaian Community Health Clinic, this month’s meeting will feature full clinical services on-site. The indefatigable Dr. Eunice Cromwell, Vice President of The Ghana National Council and Director of the Clinic, confirmed the initiative earlier today, reaffirming her deep commitment to the health and well-being of the Ghanaian Community in Chicago. Her leadership marked by tireless energy and quiet resolve, has been instrumental in bringing this vision to life.
Equally vital is the stewardship of Nana Abbayie, ( Nana Kwame Frimpong) whose cultural leadership and strategic guidance continue to elevate Asanteman Association of Chicago and the Midwest’s mission. Together, Dr. Cromwell and Nana Abbayie embody the spirit of service and unity that defines the Ghanaian community in the Midwest.
This is not merely a reminder,it is a call to gather, to heal, and to honor the legacy of communal responsibility. Let all who cherish tradition and progress come forth.
