Parliament Extends Condolences to Widows of Deceased Military Officers

The Parliament of Ghana, represented by the Clerk to Parliament, Ebenezer Ahumah Djietror, and officers from the Department of Administration, met with the widows of the late military officers who perished in the August 6, 2025 helicopter crash. The meeting was held on behalf of the Rt. Hon. Speaker.

During the meeting, the parliamentary delegation offered words of consolation to the bereaved families, expressing the Parliament’s sympathy and support during this difficult time. The gesture demonstrates the Parliament’s commitment to providing comfort and assistance to those in need.

The Parliament also presented cash donations to each of the three widows, further underscoring its solidarity with the families affected by the tragic incident. The gesture is a testament to the Parliament’s efforts to provide support and relief to those who have suffered loss.
