Vice President Leads Condolence Visits to Families of Helicopter Crash Victims

Vice President Naana Jane Opoku-Agyemang has led a team of senior government officials and National Democratic Congress (NDC) executives to formally inform the families of the eight individuals who lost their lives in a helicopter crash. The Vice President’s gesture demonstrates the government’s commitment to providing support and comfort to the bereaved families during this difficult time.

The Vice President visited the homes of Environment Minister Alhaji Dr. Ibrahim Murtala Mohammed and Acting Deputy National Security Coordinator Alhaji Minuru Lumuna, offering condolences and providing emotional support to the families. Another team led by Chief of Staff Julius Debrah and NDC National Chairman Johnson Asiedu Nketia visited the family of Defence Minister Dr. Edward Omane Boamah in Koforidua.

Additional teams were dispatched to the homes of the helicopter crew in Takoradi, NDC Vice Chairman Samuel Sarpong, and Deputy Director General of NADMO Samuel Aboagye. The condolence visits are a testament to the government’s respect for the victims and their families, and a demonstration of the nation’s collective grief and solidarity with those affected by the tragic incident.
