The Lordina Foundation, a humanitarian organization led by First Lady Mrs. Lordina Dramani Mahama, has made a significant donation of essential medical supplies and equipment to the Techiman North constituency. The supplies are intended to enhance healthcare delivery in the area.

Mrs. Lordina Dramani Mahama, President of the Foundation, personally handed over the items to the Member of Parliament for Techiman North and Minister for Trade, Agribusiness and Industry, Elizabeth Ofosu-Agyare.

During the presentation, Mrs. Mahama underscored the Foundation’s ongoing commitment to improving the lives of vulnerable populations across Ghana, with a focus on quality healthcare promotion, education, and general well-being for deprived children and women in both rural and urban settings. She emphasized that the donation highlights the Foundation’s belief in collaborative efforts for sustainable development within Ghana’s health sector.

Expressing her profound gratitude, Mrs. Ofosu-Agyare noted that the donated equipment and supplies would significantly impact healthcare services in Techiman North, bridging existing gaps in the system and reflecting a shared commitment to the well-being of the constituents.

The initiative aligns with the Lordina Foundation’s broader mission to modernize and strengthen under-resourced health facilities and ensure medical professionals are equipped to provide high-quality care.

The donated items included a wide range of crucial equipment such as Hospital and Theatre Beds, Delivery Beds, Incubators, Theatre Lights, Phototherapy Machines, Baby Scales, Syringes, Gloves, Trolleys, Wheelchairs, Commodes, Baby Cots, Baby Carts, Medical Screens, Baby Baths, Bedside Cabinets, and Overhead Tables.
