The Evangelical Presbyterian Church of Chicago warmly invites the community to a day of spiritual renewal and purposeful giving at its Men’s Fellowship Day and Annual Harvest celebration on Sunday, July 27, 2025, at 1 PM. The occasion, led by the Men’s Fellowship and embraced by the entire congregation, is a call to action—one that seeks to uplift the vulnerable within Ghanaian communities near and far.

Centered around the theme “Supporting the Needy: The Role of Christian Men,” this year’s gathering honors the sacred responsibility to care for others, a core principle of the teachings of our Lord Jesus Christ. The celebration will be held at the church’s worship location at 7635 South Dorchester Avenue, Chicago, IL 60619.

Funds raised during the Harvest will be directed toward initiatives that offer meaningful relief to the poor and underserved in Ghana, while also supporting vital programs within Chicago’s Ghanaian community. Every gift, every gesture of generosity, becomes a thread in the tapestry of hope this event seeks to weave.

Last year, with unwavering support from community members, the Evangelical Presbyterian Church achieved notable progress. Essential sanitary pads were distributed to schoolgirls in the Avatime traditional area in Ghana, ensuring dignity and continued education. Significant donations supported Ghanaian Community Health Clinic operations in Chicago, and the church partnered with St. Paul’s Lutheran Church to serve nourishing meals during their Thanksgiving outreach.

This year, the church prays for continued generosity, envisioning an even greater impact—reaching more homes, more hearts, and more lives. As the congregation unites in prayer and action, they extend a blessing to all who give: may the Lord prosper the works of your hands, grant you enduring health, and surround your family with grace.

Join the Evangelical Presbyterian Church of Chicago in sowing seeds of compassion. Let us gather with purpose and celebrate a Harvest that does more than nourish—it transforms. May every offering be a testament of love, and every prayer a beacon of progress.

Worship services are held every Sunday from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at 7621 South Dorchester Avenue, Chicago, IL 60619. For inquiries or further information, please contact the church office at 917-544-6269, 708-262-8798, or 773-260-2564.

Together, we plant. Together, we rise. Together, we harvest hope.
