Help Kokuvi fix his ‘strange’ spinal problem

Kokuvi Houssnoukpeh is a 46-year-old resident of Nungua and has been battling with a swollen spine for the past five months.

The condition, which is the result of an earlier surgery at the Komfo Anokye Teaching Hospital, causes the patient’s entire body to vibrate endlessly as a result of his complications.

Kokuvi cannot stand upright, sleep nor lie down comfortably and continues to wither in anguish as his family has virtually abandoned him.

The patient is currently seeking further treatment at the Korle Bu Teaching Hospital in Accra where his Doctor at the Neurosurgical Department, Dr. Mawuli Ametepe, intend doing an MRI scan of his entire spine as part of the diagnosis toward correcting his swollen spine.

The entire procedure is estimated to cost a little less than 2,000 Ghana cedis which the patient is unable to raise and is therefore seeking assistance from the general public to save his spine.

Any assistance can be channeled through the queen mother of the Ewe Community in Ashiaman, Mama Dorla Nutifafa Worname Fiangor I.

She can be reached on her mobile phone number 0243358708 or come to the front desk of Radio XYZ opposite the former African Market at Osu or call the station on 0302761684.
