Morocco’s King Mohammed VI Expected In Ghana On Wednesday

King Mohammed VI, of the Kingdom of Morocco, is expected to arrive in Ghana on Wednesday on 3-day official visit to the country.

According to a statement signed by Ag. Director of Communications at the presidency, Eugene Arhin, the visit is aimed at deepening the existing, cordial relations between Ghana and Morocco, and also to create opportunities of co-operation in diverse areas that would serve the mutual interests of the two countries.

The statement which was copied to the Ghana Broadcasting Corporation, (GBC), said President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo will on Friday, January 20, hold bilateral talks with King Mohammed VI, before hosting him to an official lunch at the Presidency.

STATEMENT ON THE VISIT OF KING MOHAMMED VI, KING OF MOROCCO

His Majesty King Mohammed VI, of the Kingdom of Morocco, will from Wednesday, January 18, 2017, begin an official visit to Ghana.

The visit is aimed at deepening the existing, cordial relations between Ghana and Morocco, as well present an opportunity to define new areas of co-operation that would serve the mutual interests of the two countries.

On Friday, January 20, President Akufo-Addo will hold bilateral talks with King Mohammed VI, before hosting him to an official lunch at the Presidency.

King Mohammed VI will thereafter depart for Morocco.
