The New Patriotic Party (NPP) has responded to the NDC’s news conference where the Party Chairman, Kofi Portuphy accused Nana Addo of inciting the invisible forces of the NPP to also attack state institutions.
The Deputy General Secretary of the Party, Nana Obiri Boahen asked the National Democratic Congress (NDC), to respect Nana Akufo-Addo as the President of the country.
He described the comments and threats by the NDC to retaliate as unacceptable.
Nana Obiri Boahen recounted similar incidents in 2008, and was quick to add that the party does not condone such behaviours.
He said the party condemns the attacks and forceful takeover of state institutions.
