October 9 2016, Chicago Illinois: The Ghanaian Catholic Community of Chicago at St. Ambrose organized a special Thanksgiving Service in honor of Mr. Seth Nkansa, an elder in the Ghanaian community here. Mr. Nkansa was at the service to thank the Lord for healing Mercies. He underwent multiple surgeries associated with a prolonged convalescence. In a short remarks during the service, Mr. Nkansa told the audience “I would like to express my sincere thanks, gratitude and love to my church, The Ghanaian Catholic Community of Chicago at St. Ambrose and all those who prayed for me or put me on their prayer list during the battle with my Illness.I also want to praise the Lord for the outpouring of his great love and for being with and helping me to bear this illness. Without my Precious Savior I know I could not have gone through this or handled the difficulties and the changes it makes to your life.”
Family members, friends , Co-workers and members of the Ghanaian community were there to support him.
The service was officiated by Father John Owusu.
