Twenty more people have been arrested in connection with the recent disturbances at old Tafo in the Ashanti region.
The suspects were arrested after they attacked a security team probing the disturbances over the ownership of a cemetery.
This brings to 45 the total number of people who are in police grips over the conflict between Muslims and the indigenes.
The Chief of Army staff has also ordered the immediate arrest of the Imam for Old Tafo.
The clashes has led to the destruction of some churches and a mosque in the community.
A dusk to dawn curfew has been placed on the community by the Ashanti Regional Security Council.
Some residents who spoke to Starr News stated that the clashes and the subsequent curfew on the town have impacted negatively on their business.
