There are moves within the membership of the Ghana Medical Association (GMA) to impeach their leadership, StarrFMonline.com has learnt.
Some members of the association are angered by what they describe as the unilateral decision taken by their leadership to call off their three-week old strike.
They also claim some of their executives embarrassed the association with their utterances in the heat of the strike.

Ghanaian doctors called off their three-week old strike Friday after pleas from the general public, chiefs and government.
The doctors are demanding codified conditions of service – a package they have been fighting for in decades.
Ghana’s Employment and Labour Relations Minister Haruna Iddrisu is optimistic once negotiations are reopened today,Monday August 24, per the directive of the National Labour Commission, a deal with the GMA is likely to be clinched by the end of October.
