Actress Yvonne Nelson has commended President Mahama for the recent improvemrnt in power supply across the country.
According to her, the President has put in place initiatives that has helped improve the frequent power outages popularly known as ‘dumsor’.
“I must say, dumsor is now better, and I commend the Government, Power Minister and all other officials working around the clock to fix dumsor, for the good work they are doing,” Nelson said in an interview on Bryt FM.
Months ago, Nelson teamed up with some celebrities and civil society organizations to demonstrate against the government for failing to put in place measures to stop the worsening power supply.
The dumsor situation has generally improved in some parts of the capital with some areas enjoying over 24-hour frequent power supply.
