Abedi Pele is expected in Italy next week to hold discussions with Inter Milan over the free transfer move of his son Andre Ayew.
The young forward is out of contract at Olympique Marseille at the end of this current season and is already making moves through his agent and father, Abedi Pele, to secure his next destination.
Ayew was until now, believed to be on his way to English club Newcastle, with recent reports suggesting there is a pre-contract agreement in place.
In a recent development, Inter Milan has in the past weeks, stepped up their bid for the Ghana international.
Abedi Pele, according to reports, is now expected in Italy next week to hold discussions with officials of Inter.
Newcastle have offered Ayew a salary of €2m net a season to join them when his contract expires.
They are also willing to pay Ayew a signing-on fee of €2.5m, and as it stands, they have put in the superior offer to the player.
Inter are however poised to better this offer which will be made in the scheduled meeting with Abedi Pele next week.
