The USA Maryland Branch of the ruling National Democratic Congress (NDC) held its local elections over the weekend at 1111 E Cold Springs Lane in Baltimore, Maryland to decide on new executive members to steer the affairs of the Branch for the next four years.
The event was graced by party loyalists and sympathizers in and around Maryland, Delaware, New York and New Jersey. Also in attendance were the NDC – USA chapter executives who included Mr. Prince Evar-Agyeman, Vice Chairman, Mr. Osborne K. Sam, Secretary, Mr. Charles Kpodzo who doubles as Vice Secretary of NDC USA and Chairman of NDC Washington DC Metro and Mr. Samuel Benson Agyapong – Organizer.
Mr. Prince Evar-Agyeman, who chaired the colorful occasion, encouraged all members and executives of the NDC branch to remain resolute in their quest to ensure that H.E. John Dramani Mahama is given all the support to deliver on the Better Ghana Agenda promised all Ghanaians.
Other chapter executives took turns to also give their remarks, emphasizing on the need for the umbrella family to remain united and refrain from irresponsible acts which have the tendency to put the party’s image in disrepute, also advised members to be vigilant both on social media and other radio stations in ensuring the opposition does not succeed in their quest to spread falsehood which they have now resorted to.
The following new executives were duly elected and sworn into office;
Mr. Divine Jorry Mankye Jr – Chairman
Mr. Franklin kwaku Djisam – Secretary
Mr. Patrick S. Adzandu – Organizer
Mr Bernard Akrofi – Treasury
The newly elected chairman, on behalf of the new executives assured all members and Chapter executives of his desire to embark on massive membership drive and to even work harder than ever to ensure that the NDC in the United States continues to be the only vibrant option to Ghanaians in the Diaspora.
