Ghana’s Black Stars have booked a date with host of the ongoing Africa Cup of Nations, Equatorial Guinea for the semi-finals Thursday after walloping Guinea 3 – 0 on Sunday in their quarter-final clash.
Christian Atsu opened the score line with a goal in the third minute of the game.
Kwesi Appiah made it two just before the end of the first half after which Atsu made it three in the 61st minute.
Avram Grant started Kwesi Appiah ahead of Jordan Ayew and injured Amartey made way for John Boye but the rest retained their positions.
Ghana would be ending their 33-year trophy drought if they are able to beat the host nation and prove unstoppable in the finals.
