In the course of the week, Ghanaian players were in action all over the world.

Richmond Boakye Yiadom netted a brace in a cup game in Italy, whilst Jordan Ayew scored his second goal in two games in France.

Mike Anas Mohammed also netted a brace in South Africa, whilst Abdul Majeed Waris was on target in Turkey as well.

England

In the Premier League, Jeffrey Schlupp was booked in the 75th minute and played the full game as Leicester City lost 1-3 to Liverpool.

Christian Atsu was an unused substitute as Everton drew 1-1 with Hull City.

Scotland

In the Premiership, Abdul Osman played the full match as Partick Thistle lost 0-1 to Celtic.

In Serie A, Alfred Duncan replaced Pedro Obiang at half time as Sampdoria drew 1-1 with Napoli.

In the Coppa Italia, Raman Chibsah played the full match and Abass Alhassan was an unused substitute as Sassuolo beat Pescara 1-0. Ransford Selasi was booked in the 63rd minute and played the full match for Pescara.
