Korle-bu Teaching Hospital, KBTH, has a new International Vaccination center. The center is located at the Public health department,”old eye clinic”. With the upsurge of demand for vaccinations prior to travelling abroad, the Hospital authorities decided to make available to their teeming patrons, a vaccination center to make it a one stop screening and compliance center for international travelers.

Korle-Bu Teaching Hospital is the premier healthcare facility in Ghana. Located in Accra, it is the only public tertiary hospital in the southern part of the country. It is a teaching hospital affiliated with the medical school of the University of Ghana. Besides the new vaccination center , KBTH has three centers of excellence. They are, the National Cardiothoracic Centre, the National Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery and the Radiotherapy Centers. This year, the hospital gained a license from the Health Facilities Regulatory Agency (HeFRA), after meeting the rigorous compliance requirements.
