Ghanaians must be patient with my gov’t – Mahama

President Mahama says his government is strategising to make available to Ghanaians, stable and sustainable job opportunities, to enable Citizens attain a high standard of living.

According to the president, this requires fixing of the current challenges of the economy.

He pleaded with Ghanaians to be patient while his government addresses the current challenges with the economy.

He was addressing the opening of the fourth policy fair at the Conference Centre here in Accra.

“Ghana’s economic prospects are bright, we may be facing temporary challenges but measures have been put in place to overcome these and the economy is responding positively”.

“Recently there was the issue of approved tariffs but PURC have been topical and we have tasked a technical team to consider the issue and make recommendations to government,” President Mahama said.

“I want to take this opportunity to appeal to organized labour to allow the committee time and space to finish its work and present its report to government”.
