Breaking News : Nana Sanaa Darko Pass On To Glory!

The family and friends of the Darko family, home and abroad, with heavy heart, announce the death of Nana Sanaa Atta Darko at the Trinity Hospital, Chicago Illinois. He was 75 years old.

The late Nana Sanaa Atta Darko was the first chief of the Okuapeman Fekuw in Chicago and also the first President of the Ghanaian Chieftaincy Council here. His leadership did not only bring the chiefs, queen-mothers, and the community together, but also brought unity, peace, celebration, preservation and promotion of the Ghanaian culture in Chicago.

The President of the Ghana National Council of Metropolitan Chicago, GNC, Mr. Paa Kwasi Sam said the death of Nana Darko is a big blow to the community. “As one of the pioneers who provided leadership, which brought us together, we will always owe him a ton of gratitude”

Paa Kwasi expressed his sincerest condolences to the bereaved family and asked members of the community to keep the Darko family in their prayers.
