Chicago July 16 2017: When Financial services Company pitch their products normally it is about what services and products for clients to buy and not the expectation of a huge donation. Donating Ten Thousand Dollars to potential clients before they sign on to products and services of a financial company is an uncommon occurrence that separates good companies from the best ! Thrivent Financial has therefore shown their unique approach that blends faith, finances and generosity together when they presented a check of Ten Thousand Dollars to the Asanteman Association of the Midwest. The check was received on behalf of the Association by its secretary, Mr. Victor Sakyi-Ntow Boafo, who orchestrated the special presentation from paperwork to reality. Mr. Kevin Cunniff (Partner, Leader & Recruiter of Top Sales Executives) presented the check on behalf of Thrivent Financial. The surprise and unexpected gesture drew a huge applause from dignitaries and guests who attended the event. The story of Thrivent Financial in the Chicago Ghanaian Community started with Nana Yaw Marfo whilst on a private engagement in Minnesota. After realizing what was involved, Nana Marfo contacted Mr. Victor Boafo to handle the emerging relationship between Thrivent and the Ghanaian Community in Chicago. Mr. Boafo and Nana Addai Baffour( Asantefuohene, AACM) thanked Thrivent Financial for the unexpected generous donation.

Prior to the donation, Mr. Collins Ofori-Amanfo, an engineer by profession and a life insurance advocate gave an indepth presentation on Thrivent Financial Life Insurance and other products in Twi. It was followed by Q&A session. Mr. Kevin Cunniff also took some questions from the floor.

Reverend Emmanuel Amonoo , Resident Pastor of the Church of the Ghanaian community prayed for the success of the program whilst Nana Yaw Marfo was the emcee.
