The school at Agbeve in the South Tongu District is celebrating their 75th anniversary this December. I am the secretary to the anniversary committee and appealed to my friend Helen Nellis, the Lord Lieutenant of Bedfordshire in UK and the husband Prof. Joe Nellis to help build a Nursery\kindergarten and an ICT centre to commemorate the occasion. They agreed and project on going. I visited our MP, Mr Korby Woyome twice at home to inform him. The first time it was said he was on bed, I waited for 4 hours and left after booking an appointment with his Secretary to see him the next day. I duly came with my Chairman right at the agreed time but for 2 hours he was still in bed and we left in anger!
He later rushed to the village and presented a table top computer to the school!
We are having the English Royalty and High Commissioner as invited guests and the Committee decided to approach the Regional Minister, Dr Letsa for help in inviting Ghanaian officialdom. This is our MP!
