To this end, it has increased surveillance at all levels.
The Ministry says it received information from the West African country that at least nine others have been infected by the disease.
The symptoms reported by the victims mainly are headache, weakness, diarrhoea, vomiting, mental confusion, abdominal pain and fever.
In a statement, the Ministry which did not give any name to the disease said all efforts are being put in place to prevent importation of the strange disease to Ghana.
